Recyclable

Crushed tiles can serve for road sublayers and other construction purposes.

This standard is used to develop high performance, green buildings and a platform for sustainable development.

Ludowici can offer three ways to earn LEED credits.

SS Credit 7.2 – Heat Island Effect

LEED Credit Available: 1 Point
Ludowici has 13 standard colors that meet the required Solar Reflectance Index (SRI) value of 29.

MR Credit 4 – Recycle Content

If the total PRI content of all the materials used for a building totals to:
- 10% = 1 LEED Point
- 20% = 2 LEED Points
Ludowici clay roof tile has a post industrial recyclable content of 3%.

MR Credit 5.1 – Regional Materials

LEED Credit Available: 1 Point
A LEED point can be earned if the location of the manufacturing facility is within 500 miles of the job site.
